Steketee, Mahmood in as Heat host Thunder

Saqib Mahmood is making his debut for the Sydney Thunder while Mark Steketee is back for the Brisbane Heat, who will bowl first in their Big Bash League clash at the Gabba.

The Heat snapped a two-game losing streak with a last-start defeat of the Melbourne Renegades, while the Thunder are also 1-2 this season.

Paceman Steketee is back from national duties, while the Thunder have added English quick Mahmood at the expense of in-form Gurinder Sandhu.
