He smashed a staggering 672 goals during his 778 games as a Barca player.

But now at PSG he is enduring the least productive start to a league season in his career so far.

The 34-year-old is averaging a goal every 865 minutes for his new club in Ligue 1.

He has netted just once in 11 games for the French giants.

That goal came in his side’s 3-1 victory against Nantes back in November.

This year’s Ballon d’Or winner has fared better in the Champions League, where he has five goals in five appearances.

And his domestic assist tally stands at a respectable five – including three in one game against Saint-Etienne last month.

Messi has been battling through a stop-start season so far with multiple fitness issues limiting his first-team opportunities.

He moved to Paris in August after financial turmoil at Barca prevented them from offering him a contract extension.

He penned a two-year deal at the Parc des Princes, with the option to extend by a further 12 months.
