Latest snapshot of the coronavirus impact


* There have been 40,166,894 doses administered in the national COVID-19 vaccination rollout up to Sunday, including 49,337 in the previous 24 hours.

* Of the total, 23,937,759 have been administered by the Commonwealth, an increase of 26,563 on the previous 24 hours.

* 16,229,135 have been administered by the states and territories, including 22,774 in the previous 24 hours.

* 93.32 per cent of people 16 and over in Australia have received at least their first dose and 89.21 per cent are fully vaccinated.


* Australia reported 1569 new local cases: 1069 in Victoria, 485 in NSW, 10 in South Australia, three in the Northern Territory and one each in Queensland and the ACT.

* The national death toll is 2104: Victoria 1415 (+2), NSW 639 (+2), ACT 15, Tasmania 13, WA 9, Queensland 7, SA 4 and the NT 1. (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).


* Cases: at least 269,693,236

* Deaths: at least 5,301,185

* Vaccine doses administered: at least 8,414,030,569.
